The much anticipated trip to Patagonia was put on hold until January 2008, as, at the planned date for March 2007, I was still a wee bit hobbled, but things are looking up now.
Plans are underway for an assault on the Great Ocean Road on Victoria's stunning Bass Strait coastline in October and a two week sojourn in New Zealand in November - a little bit of hiking on the Routebourne and Hollyford tracks followed by a spot of R and R on the Bay of Island and the Coramandel Coast - sure sounds like a slice of heaven. Might even hope for some late season snow whilst I'm there.
